About the league

ECRDA is a female flat track roller derby association located in Fort St John, BC. Originally founded in January 2010, the league became a registered non-profit organization in September 2010.

We are a Women's Roller Derby League. We are currently accepting new skaters of all skill levels. We are also looking for referees (both men & women) and additional volunteers.

ECRDA promotes the sport of women’s flat track roller derby in FSJ and plans to be active in the community and with local charities.

We are a member of the Roller Derby Association of Canada (RDAC), and are insured as a league and individual skaters through CDRi

We follow the rules and regulations of WFTDA (Women’s Flat Track Derby Association).

League Mandate:

The Energetic City Roller Derby Association actively engages in the positive promotion of and involvement in Roller Derby and the ECRDA in Fort St John and surrounding areas.

Additionally the ECRDA promotes the good-will, health, intelligence, empowerment, individuality and well-being of all women, embraces positive femininity, sexuality & body image and encourages good sportsmanship, fitness, inclusion, honesty, constructive communication and civic/community pride and involvement.
